Since reorganizing my space, I have been having a difficult time deciding what to sew. There are so many unfinished projects. Idea’s for new projects. Refashions I want to attempt.
I worked on a quilt for my niece Anna the other day. It was started at a workshop with Joe Cunningham in the spring. Got the first border on. Still deciding on what to do with it next. Will post pics when done.
Started working on a refashion of a pair of hiking pants into a hiking skirt then bam, figuratively not literally, my machine jams. Generally when this happens its thread where it shouldn’t be or a jam in the bobbin case. Not this time.
I am not afraid of taking things apart, which I did. But I cannot easily see the problem. So, I’m going to have to take it in to the shop. This is when I wish they were open 24/7. So bummed. I do have other machines that I can use but it’s not the same. This is my Husky #1+ (that is the model, not just what I call it). I love this machine. I have had it approximately 20 years. I don’t want to purchase another one. Hopefully it’s fixable.

UPDATE: My husband asked what was up as my machine was apart on my ironing surface. I went in to show him as he got a pair of glasses. And whala, whatever was jamming the machine was gone. I guess I got it loose while looking at it. I have since cleaned out all the lint. Put it back together. It sounds and runs fine. But I’m going to take it in to have it looked at.
