I have been debating on changing the name of my blog for a while. I wanted something a bit more catchy. When I started blogging, I really hadn’t thought out the name.
There are so many great blog names out there, but I couldn’t think of what I wanted to use as a name. Many use there pets as part of there name. But even though I love my pups, I really couldn’t come up with something I liked. My pups are Brittanys. But I didn’t want to use Brittany in the name. There are to many ways it could be mistaken for something other than a dog.
It came to me this week as I was hiking in the Ossipee Mountain range. I started using The Quilting Hiker as an on-line handle. It is a perfect name. I love to quilt. I love to hike. Thus my blog will be known as The Quilting Hiker.
I have also added a couple of pages where I will be crossing off mountains as I climb them. I generally take a picture of my pups on the peaks. If I get a good one I will share them with you.
