Saturday, Sept. 10: A day in your life! Take us through it with you by sharing a photo each hour of the day.
This was a tough one for me. The thought of taking a picture every hour just didn’t work for me. Keeping track of time is not my strong suit. I’m not sure anyone would really be interested in my day to know what I do hour by hour.
I did get a customer quilt quilted this morning. I almost missed lunch. I didn’t realize it was almost 1 when I got the quilt off the frame, folded and bagged.
In the afternoon, I got some oatmeal cookies made. While they were baking, I worked on making a stuff sack. I have been wanting to make some ever since spending the night with another hiker at the Cabot Mt cabin. She showed me a stuff sack she made with some rip-stop nylon and dog collars.
My hiking pal Carol gave me some rid-stop fabric. I purchased a couple of dog collars at the dollar store. The first try, I didn’t get the math right. The second one came out great. It will be my first aid kit for hiking.
Now I need to make more for the rest of my hiking stuff. Once I get all the kinks out of my process for making these. I will write a post about how to make these.
Showed it to my husband and asked what he wanted for dinner. I didn’t realize it was almost 5. I still needed to make a quick run to the grocery store.
The rest of the evening will be spent watching tv with my husband and the pups.
What do you think of my stuff sack? I personally love it. Would you be interested in making your own?
