Wednesday, Sept. 14: Make a mood board! Are you brainstorming a room re-do, a capsule wardrobe, or already planning for the holidays? Show us your ideas!

I have been taking various on-line classes about fitting and drafting slopers in my quest to sew a perfect fitting pant.  I’m halfway there. I have a pattern drafted. I just need to make the first cut into the fabric.

I have the navy fabric (center). I want them to be waistband free (upper left). Undecided between a button or zipper welt back pocket (upper right and lower left). And a square front pocket (lower right).

If you could design your perfect pant, what would it have? What would you not want?

  1. Perfect pant: smooth and flat over the belly, narrow or no waistband, slim legs with just a bit of ease at the knees, side seam pocket that doesn’t gap out and made from a durable fabric with just a bit of stretch
